I work in a variety of mediums, please click on the buttons to the right to see a selection of my work, to commission one similar or one to your specification. Some of the works are my private collection (indicated), although I can recreate the painting upon request. Please note that due to the unique nature of each hand painting, no two will be the same.
Commissions can be in the form of framed or unframed chunky canvas, framed or unframed acrylic board, cards, illustration designs for business cards, illustration designs for wedding invitation or a copy of a limited print. Corporate commissions can also be made for art to enhance an office, shop or salon environment to your personal specification.
Canvas: My oil paintings are normally carried out on chunky canvas with either 4cm or 2cm thick sides. I tend to paint the sides of the canvas to create a 3-D continuous effect to the image - the "story". Chunky canvas do not necessitate framing, examples:
Ink Wash-Off Technique: these unusual images are mounted on a black surround to enhance the mottled ink ambiance and clip-framed, example:
Commissions: Do you need something special for a forthcoming birthday, anniversary, Christmas or even next Valentine's? Why not capture that special memory and commission a unique personalised painting - so much more original than chocolates or flowers and is guaranteed no two will be the same! Would also suggest an inspirational or calming background image to enhance any bland, clinical office environment.
I can work from your own photo or specification—mediums varying from oils, waters, washes, pastels or charcoals ... prices range from £60 upwards. Postage and package (by courier) will be charged in addition according to weight. Framed canvas will be at an extra cost.
Gallery Prints: Many of the oils, waters or inks are also available as limited gallery prints on Cotton Rag (high quality ebony base matt finish paper). Please enquire further if interested.
Framing: Frames are made-to-measure from eco-friendly reclaimed timber. Two examples are shown below a 'floating frame', one matt black surround and one cross timber style with line wax to enhance the wood grain. Frames are at an additional cost, depending on size varying from £30-£50 per canvass.
